TRELLEBORG

The harbor

Trelleborg is Sweden's southernmost town with about
30 500 inhabitants.  The port of Trelleborg connects to Germany and Poland. On both sides of the harbor, the plan is to strengthen the eel meadows outside the beaches, partly for preventive purposes. Some places are currently not acutely affected by erosion. On the western side of the harbor, there are healthy populations of eelgrass.
